Chiranjeevi is a Indian film actor who was born on 1955 August 22.His original
name is Konidala Siva Shankara Vara Prasad. Chiranjeevi was born in Mogulthur,
near Narsapur.He did his Graduate from Y.N.College at Narsapur.In 1976 he
joined in Madras film Institute in acting course. Chiranjeevi started his film career
with pranamkaridu movie but his first released movie was punadirallu.At his
starting film career he acted as a villain in so many films and got good name
for his performance as a villain.
In
1982, he acted in the movie intlo ramanya veedhilo krishnayya as a leading hero.
This film was directed by kodi Ramakrishna. He got his first success as a hero
through this movie. Later he acted in the direction of Sri K.Viswanath in the
movie Subhaleka.For this movie he received his first Film Fare Award. In 1983,
he acted in the movie khaidi which was directed by A.Kodandaramireddy.This film
was a blockbuster at that time and broke all the records. By this film
Chiranjeevi life completely changed and he became one of the top heroes in
telugu film industry. Later he acted in Successful movies like mantra gari
viyankudu, Goonda, Challenge, hero, Donga, Kondaveeti Raja…etc.He received his
second film fare award for his performance in Vijetha movie.
In
1987, he acted in the direction of Sri K.Viswanath in the movie Swayamkrushi in
which he acted as a coblar.For this film he received his first Nandi Award for
his performance in this movie. In his early career he acted in so many films within
a short period of time in this maximum number of films are super hit films.
After this movie he acted in Pasivadi Pranam which is also a super hit film. In
1988, he appeared in three films the first is Yamuduki mogudu which is
commercially hit movie at box-office and the second film was manchi donga, this
movie also a hit movie and the third movie was rudraveena under the direction
of sri K.Balachandar, this movie won a national Award for the Best feature film
on national Integration, this film was produced by Nagababu, brother of Chiranjeevi.
He won his second Nandi award for this movie. Later he acted opposite to
sridevi in the film jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari which was directed by Sri
K.Rgavendra Rao and produced by Aswinidutt.This film was bumper hit at box-office.
Till know it is one of the best films in telugu film industry.
In 1991, he acted in the film Gang
leader which is also a blockbuster movie. Later he acted in Gharana mogudu
produced by Devi varaprasad which is commercially a big hit and at that time
only it collected a huge amount of 10 crores.In 1990, he entered into the
bollywood with the film pratibandh which is a remake of telugu movie. This
movie brought him a good name in bollywood also and his second film in
bollywood was aajka gunda raj which is a remake of telugu movie gentleman. In
1992, he acted in the movie aapthbandhavudu which is directed by Sri
K.Viswanath and for this movie again he received Nandi award and film fare award.
In 2002, he acted in the movie Indra which was a huge hit and broke all the
records in the telugu film industry. For this film again he received Nandi
Award and film fare award. Later he acted in Tagore in the direction of
V.V.Vinayak and shankaradada M.B.B.S in the direction of jayanth.
